I was born in 1958 in St. Petersburg, Russia - the city of palaces and wonderful art collections left by the Russian czars. In 1981, I graduated from The Polytechnic of Leningrad with a bachelors degree in electronics, and later got a masters degree in physics. Since my adolescence, however, I had a love for the English language and MAKING JEWELRY.

When the Cold War ended, and The Iron Curtain was finally dropped, I decided to seek adventures and opportunities abroad. I started making jewelry professionally in 1993, in New York. From a production jeweler, I quickly grew to a model maker and, finally, to an advanced jeweler who makes the highest quality jewelry in the world.

Being a jeweler is extremely fulfilling but, at the same time, not easy -- it requires a healthy lifestyle and a constant learning. I never stopped making jewelry as a hobby, and pieces presented in this site are made just for the thrill of it. I also learned a lot from other talented jewelers and noticed that they are usually very confident and secure people, and are always willing to share their experience with others. And that's exactly what I'm trying to do now.
